The sad reality is that oftentimes, people decide on their new pet based on appearance and often opt for the cutest puppy available, overlooking some of the more unconventional-looking dogs. But these dogs deserve love, too… like this good boy who spent years waiting for the right forever home but finally got his happy ending.
Alan is a one-year-old puppy with a significant facial [ᴍᴀʟ.ғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ] that provides him his unique appearance. He was discovered on the streets of Doha, Qatar, with his mother, father, and 7 siblings when he was two months old.
Due to this [ᴍᴀʟ.ғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ], your nose spins and tilts to the right, exposing your lower teeth completely. The woman took Alan to the vet to be assessed for possible surgery and to avoid any type of breathing issues. However, following a complete evaluation, it was identified that he had no problems and was totally healthy.
Jen, a shelter volunteer, said. “He is a little mush and a volunteer favorite.”
The photos show the happy young puppy relaxing on the sofa with Father and getting a delicious goodie from the kitchen counter. At home, he may be seen playing with his family and foster brother or sisters, and he enjoys leaping about.
The dog had a terrible start in life, but he currently enjoys his brand-new life with Johanna and her family!
“He loves to slobber on you and will do anything for some food,” veterinary tech Danielle Gorle told. “He also likes to just hang out and not do anything.”
The family that adopted him had experience taking care of elderly dogs. Now he has someone to love and take care of him and he is no longer alone.
“He is relaxing comfortably and looks great!” the shelter wrote.
Alan’s family wants to show the world that he enjoys and lives a regular life like any other dog. He will certainly remain to enjoy his fantastic life and demonstrate to everybody that being different is not an issue nor a hindrance to happiness.
