The unusual-looking kitten ʟᴏsᴛ her front legs after sustaining a ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ ɪɴᴊᴜʀʏ; she was found with both legs ɪʀʀᴇᴘᴀʀᴀʙʟʏ mangled and was rushed to a vet clinic, where her legs had to be ᴀᴍᴘᴜᴛᴀᴛᴇᴅ to sᴀᴠᴇ her ʟɪꜰᴇ.
But despite ʟᴏsɪɴɢ her two front legs, Duck has never ʟᴏsᴛ her drive or love of life.

According to Love Meow, Duck’s pet parent has stated that they sᴜsᴘᴇᴄᴛ she sustained her ɪɴᴊᴜʀɪᴇs by snuggling up inside a car’s engine bay, though nobody can be sure what happened.
After being taken to the clinic and undergoing sᴜʀɢᴇʀʏ, she was placed in a foster home to give her time to heal, recover, and get used to her new way of life while receiving love and affection.
Though it was only supposed to be a temporary placement, Duck soon charmed the entire family and cemented her place as a permanent family member.
Despite her ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ ᴀᴄᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛ and ᴛʀᴀɢɪᴄ ʟɪᴍʙ ʟᴏss, Duck seemed happy and filled with energy, and her happiness rubbed off on everyone in the house.
