While she waited for her forever family to find her, Hazel was living with a loving foster family. She’d never seen her foster family before, but she knew she loved them and they loved her.
This is a heartwarming moment, an abandoned blind pit bull, who was neglected her entire life, finally found a forever home.
But when she got her vision back, her happiness doubled.
Elli and Sam, two kind people, who became Hazel’s foster parents, did everything in their power to adjust their house comfortably for the blind dog so that she could wander without getting hurt.
Finally, they got the news they’d been waiting and hoping for: Hazel was approved for surgery to reverse her [ʙʟɪɴᴅ]ness!
They took her to the animal hospital for her surgery, and it was a success. After the procedure, her foster parents were told it would take some time for her to gain her vision back, but it was apparent that Hazel was already seeing.
Fortunately, the surgery was successful. The new family was ready to help the adorable dog to recover fully. After Hazel began to see clearly, the moment she saw her foster parents for the first time was so sweet! After all the time she’d spent with them, she finally got to truly see them.
Beyond gaining her vision back, Hazel also got new confidence in life. She did everything with a bit more gusto, like crossing the street and playing with toys. She even plays fetch now, something she never did while [ʙʟɪɴᴅ]!
