Cats are known for their love of lounging around, napping in sunny spots, and grooming themselves to perfection. So when a cat is taken to the beach for the first time, it’s not surprising that they may not be impressed. Pumpkin is an adventurous kitty and has always loved playing outdoors and exploring nature, so when his family headed to the beach, they let Pumpkin and his brother, Moustachio, tag along.
Pumpkin and Moustachio shared an unbreakable bond and were adopted together after being fostered by the family as kittens.
“We just couldn’t let Pumpkin go. We knew he was special right away. So we adopted him, along with his brother Moustachio as they were inseparable,” their family revealed to Bored Panda.
Pumpkin sᴜꜰꜰᴇʀs from a ɴᴇᴜʀᴏʟᴏɢɪᴄᴀʟ ᴅɪsᴇᴀsᴇ that ᴀꜰꜰᴇᴄᴛs his motor skills. But despite being pretty clumsy, Pumpkin never lets his ᴄᴏɴᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ ʜᴏʟᴅ him back.
The wind, however, is another story. When the family first arrived at the beach, Pumpkin seemed to love the exciting new view and the fresh air. But soon, the air became a little too fresh.
As strong winds hit the beach, Pumpkin clearly stated he was not a fan. The ᴅɪsɢʀᴜɴᴛʟᴇᴅ kitty made the most hilariously displeased expressions, and we couldn’t stop laughing.
Pumpkin isn’t afraid to show his feelings and is very clear about how he feels about the strong winds blowing at the beach.
While taking your cat to the beach may seem like a fun idea, it’s important to remember that not all cats will enjoy the experience.
