Often we have to say goodbye to our pets, but sometimes pets have to say goodbye to us. This is the heartbreaking moment a grieving mother dog tried to bring her [ᴅᴇ.ᴀᴅ] puppy back to life by digging it out of a [ɢ.ʀᴀᴠᴇ].
Three-year-old Labrador mix, Kookie, gave birth on Sunday night (May 17) in Zamboanga, the Philippines. Unfortunately, Kookie lost one among her pups after she had born to a litter of pups in Zamboanga, the Philippines. Kookie awoke Kaye de Luna, the owner, and her family, on Monday morning by barking loudly to alert them of the [ᴅɪ.ᴇᴅ] pup.
Giving the pup a dignified send-off Ms. De Luna [ʙᴜ.ʀɪᴇᴅ] the little one in an unmarked [ɢ.ʀᴀᴠᴇ] in their garden.
The dog was buried within the garden, so, when the mama was taken for a walk a couple of hours later, she just visited the grave of the puppy trying to wake him up!
The dog struggled to unearth her [ᴅᴇ.ᴀᴅ] pup, scratching at the surface of the [ɢ.ʀᴀᴠᴇ]. After finally removing enough dirt to reach the pup the mother pulls the lifeless pup out with her mouth.
‘It is really sad for her. We could see how much she cared about all of her litter. Even the one that [ᴅɪ.ᴇᴅ]she was still thinking about him.’
