One such story is about a policewoman who went above and beyond to rescue a cat from a highway overpass ᴅᴇsᴘɪᴛᴇ the ᴘʀᴏʙʟᴇᴍᴀᴛɪᴄ height.
What An Incredible Rescue!
They say cats have nine ʟɪᴠᴇs because they can ᴅᴇꜰʏ the odds and sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇ even the most ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀᴏᴜs ɪɴᴄɪᴅᴇɴᴛs.
That’s what one story proves after a cat was rescued “ᴀɢᴀɪɴsᴛ all odds” after becoming sᴛᴜᴄᴋ on a ledge above a busy interstate.
According to a Facebook post from the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services, Animal Care Officer Tutak and Animal Care Sergeant Flores responded to a call about a cat ᴛʀᴀᴘᴘᴇᴅ on an interstate overpass with no possible ᴇsᴄᴀᴘᴇ.
Arriving on the scene, they found the “sᴛᴜɴᴛ ᴅᴇᴠɪʟ” cat lying on the edge of the overpass and had to be careful not to sᴄᴀʀᴇ the cat, or he might ᴊᴜᴍᴘ from the ᴘʀᴇᴄᴀʀɪᴏᴜs position.
The cat reportedly did not trust the officers at first but warmed up to them once he realized they were there to help and let them pick him up.
The cat, now named “Bridges,” was transported to the Animal Eᴍᴇʀɢᴇɴᴄʏ Room.
According to the Facebook post, Bridges was “a bit ʀᴀᴠᴇɴᴏᴜs” when they offered him food and water and had an upper ʀᴇsᴘɪʀᴀᴛᴏʀʏ ɪɴꜰᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ but was otherwise in good health.

After being checked out and ᴄʟᴇᴀʀᴇᴅ for ᴍᴇᴅɪᴄᴀʟ ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇʀɴs, he was transported back to Animal Care Services for “further love and care.”
“He is now resting up and feeling more himself in our adoptable cat building,” ACS wrote.
The department said that Bridges is now up for adoption. They also thanked Officer Tutak and Sergeant Flores for sᴀᴠɪɴɢ the cat’s ʟɪꜰᴇ.
