Recently, an incredible video captured one such encounter between two of the most feared jungle predators – the king cobra and the brocade python. The video, which quickly went viral on social media, shows the two giant snakes coiled around each other in a ʟɪꜰᴇ-ᴀɴᴅ-ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ struggle in the middle of a dirt road. The king cobra, known for its ᴠᴇɴᴏᴍᴏᴜs ʙɪᴛᴇ and ᴅᴇᴀᴅʟʏ reputation, attempted to overpower the brocade python, a formidable constrictor known for its strength and size.
Passersby captured the impressive moment when a king cobra and a python entwined “ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ” by the roadside in Nakhon Si Thammarat, southern Thailand, on December 9.
According to eyewitnesses, the two predators clashed in the bushes before rushing out. The sudden appearance of the python-snake pair made passersby shocked and highly ᴘᴀɴɪᴄᴋᴇᴅ.
The python initially got the upper hand by wrapping around the black king cobra’s body and trying to squeeze it to ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ.
These incredible images show the python trying to use its stocky body to wrap around the cobra and intend to squeeze its opponent to ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜ. On the other side, the king cobra opened its mouth wide and stuck its fangs into the ᴇɴᴇᴍʏ’s neck.
Anoochit Preecha witnessed the ꜰɪɢʜᴛ between the two reptiles almost from the beginning and said: “One is ꜰɪɢʜᴛɪɴɢ for its sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴀʟ, while the other ᴋɪʟʟs to satisfy its hunger. I am so lucky. to witness such a rare event.”

Meanwhile, the brocade python is a member of the longest snake subfamily in the world. Historically, people have found animals with a length of up to 9-10 meters and the longest reptile in the world, but their body is not too stout. Like other pythons, pythons are not ᴠᴇɴᴏᴍᴏᴜs.
