Ingo the German Shepherd and Poldi the little owl live with their mom called Tanja Brandt in Germany; believe it or not, they are very best friends!
One of their favorite things is cozying up to each other and posing together for adorable photoshoots. Especially since Tanja is a professional wildlife photographer. Therefore, Ingo and Poldi have a lot of opportunities to put their unlikely friendship on display. This lovely connection keeps them both happy and happy, thinking there’s always one for each other to offer all the comfort in the world.
The owl is only one-year-old, so Ingo quickly assumes the role of her protector. As a result, the dog ensures he is always nearby Poldi just in case she gets sᴄᴀʀᴇᴅ or needs protection. In turn, Poldi showers the dog with affection and love.
Ingo comes from a family of police dogs, so it’s in his nature to assume the protector role. And with Poldi being the most ᴠᴜʟɴᴇʀᴀʙʟᴇ of her family because she hatched earlier than her siblings, there isn’t a better duo.
One of the most remarkable aspects of their friendship is how Ingo cares for Poldi. Despite his size and strength, Ingo is gentle and nurturing with Poldi, protecting her from ʜᴀʀᴍ and providing warmth and comfort. Poldi, in turn, seems to trust Ingo completely, cuddling up with him and even riding on his back.
