- The Naked Mole-Rat (Heterocephalus Glaber)
Few people know that, although the naked mole-rat has an ugly appearance, they possess the ability that humans covet. Naked mole-rat rats can remove ᴅᴀᴍᴀɢᴇᴅ proteins and retain high-quality proteins in their bodies. Thanks to this ability, the body of the naked mole-rat rat does not show signs of ageing or a decline in ʙʀᴀɪɴ function.

They can renew from the arms, legs, tail, spinal cord, eyes, and retina to half of the brain. Thus, it can be said that the Axolotl salamander cannot be ᴋɪʟʟᴇᴅ easily by any ᴡᴏᴜɴᴅ.
- Sacoglossa (Solar-Powered Sea Slugs)
Researchers from Nara Women’s University in Japan have discovered two species of Sacoglossa sea slugs that can regenerate a whole new body when they “ᴄᴜᴛ ᴏꜰꜰ” their heads. And the other head then regrows another complete body with entire internal organs. This defence mechanism in some animals is known as “ᴀᴜᴛᴏᴛᴏᴍʏ” – sᴇʟꜰ-ᴀʙᴏʀᴛɪᴏɴ/ᴀᴍᴘᴜᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴ of one or more body parts.
- The Bootlace Worm (Lineus Longissimus)
Scientists consider lineus worms to have extraordinary regenerative abilities. Even if it loses any part, it can grow a new one, even ahead. According to the results of many experiments, the body of the Lineus worm can be easily ᴄᴜᴛ ᴏꜰꜰ many parts. Surprisingly, even with only 1/20,000 of its body remaining, it could regrow its entire body.
