Animals have always taught us a lesson about kindness and friendship; apparently, they keep doing this in a way that sometimes defies human explanation. This time, it is a caring puppy that shows the world that we should always share what we have with those less fortunate.
At 8 months old, Lana is still very much a puppy — but she knows better than most just how important it is to be kind. Lana lives in Brazil, where she was rescued from the streets with her siblings late last year. Not long after, she was adopted by Suelen Schaumloeffel and her fiancé, settling in to her happy new life as a cherished pet. But despite now having all the love and affection a pup could hope for, Lana clearly hasn’t forgotten what it’s like for dogs who don’t.
TikTok Afonso de Paula has shared touching footage of a puppy doing a sweet act of kindness towards another dog.
One chilly day last winter Suelen made sure to provide a warm blanket for Lana. While cozying up in her doghouse, Lana noticed a stray dog wandering the streets. When Suelen’s partner stepped out of the house, he discovered that Lana dragged the blanket across the front yard and shared it with the stray dog.
Maybe all the orange puppy wanted was to play with the dog from the other side of the gate, or maybe he wanted to offer him his blanket as a gift, we do not know. But what thing is for sure, he does with from his heart!
Although 30 seconds long, the video was emotional enough to go straight to the netizens heart, warming millions of them. And many of them had adorable reactions to the video.
“The puppy has more feelings than many human beings,” one person wrote. While another one added: “What a beautiful attitude, that’s why I love animals!”
